The eagle is one of the largest birds in the world.

It is a symbol of power, strength, freedom, courage, bravery, determination, etc.

The eagle has some characteristics that makes it unique, which include:

• having a strong and powerful vision,

• fearlessness

• risk taking

• flying against the storm

• flying higher than other birds

• full of energy, and so on.

There is an eagle in you that you need to bring out. Drop the chicken mentality that you cannot make it. I tell you, you can make it, if you believe you can. You can soar above your mountains and challenges of life. All you need to do is to just bring out the 'eagle' in you. Yes, there is an 'eagle' in you. Like the eagle, have a focus vision in life, ensure your eyes are sharp, see success where others see failure, see victory where others see defeat, see possibilities where people see impossibilities and the sky will be your beginning.

Again, don't be like the chicken that is always looking down and scratching in the dirt for food. Be fearless like the eagle and stop being chicken - hearted when confronted by problems and challenges. You must take the bull by the horns and don't run away from difficult situations. Attack your fears, they must bow. Never back out of challenges as a result of fear. Nelson Mandela said ''I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear". Conquer your fears and soar like an eagle.

Also, you need to take risk sometimes because those who dare nothing, deliver nothing. Once in while, dare something or some situation like the eagle that dares its prey to survive. Your survival could be in your ability to take a risk in a risky condition. However, when you are about to take a risk, be objective.

Then, you must fly high and fly against the storm, like the eagle. Let me remind you that there is 'eagle' in you. Think big, aim high, throw away the idea that you are a failure, an outcast, a defeated foe. No, you are not a failure in life. You can still make it. It is never too late to start afresh. You should make up your mind to soar higher than others no matter the storms and adverse wind blowing against you, like the eagle, put up a resistance and you will definitely overcome.

Finally, there is vitality in you, which you need to discover and make use of. Like the eagle, there is an inbuilt energy in you. There is a potential in you . You have something unique, that makes you different and you are yet to discover it. Look for that peculiarity in you and display it for the world to see. The energy in the eagle takes it to an enviable height in the sky. That potential in you, will take you to places, you will stand before kings, governors and presidents. Where your mates didn't get to, you will get there, what your mates could not achieve, you will achieve them, only just bring out the 'eagle' in you.

Let me conclude with this story which Charles Swindoll retells. He said a man found the egg of an eagle and kept in the nest of a chicken. The eagle's egg was eventually hatched with other eggs. The eaglet grew with other chickens and thought it was a chicken. It did what the other chickens did. It scratched the dirt for food, clucked and cackled, flew within the limits of its little wings and feathers. One day, the eaglet saw a beautiful bird far in the sky, flying majestically against the storm. "What a beautiful bird!" said the challenged eaglet to a chicken. "What is it?" the chicken asked. "That's an eagle - the chief  of the birds", replied the chicken. "But don't give  it a second thought. You could never be like him", the chicken continued. Truly, the eaglet never gave it another thought. It died thinking it was a chicken.

I challenge you once again, bring out the 'eagle' in you, don't die thinking that you are a chicken.

Rise and take action NOW.
